As a Product Owner at Verne Health, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our flagship platform: the Verne EPD Platform, a modern, user-centric electronic health record (EHR) tailored to physiotherapists and their patients.
You will be the bridge between our users, stakeholders, and development team—translating user needs and business goals into a clear and actionable product roadmap. Your insights will drive innovation, and your leadership will ensure we deliver impactful, intuitive, and secure healthcare technology.
This full-time role is hybrid, with flexible remote work options and an office in Amersfoort.
Define and maintain the product vision and roadmap in alignment with company strategy.
Manage and prioritize the product backlog based on business value, user feedback, and development capacity.
Collect and analyze input from physiotherapists, patients, and internal teams to identify needs and opportunities.
Write detailed user stories and acceptance criteria for new features and improvements.
Collaborate closely with the development team during sprint planning, refinement, and reviews.
Conduct regular feedback sessions, monitor KPIs, and validate the impact of product changes.
Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, security standards, and privacy guidelines (e.g., GDPR/AVG).
Be the internal ambassador for user-centric product development.
We are looking for a proactive, analytical, and communicative Product Owner with a deep interest in technology and healthcare.
Proven experience as a Product Owner or in a similar product management role in a SaaS or tech environment.
Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum principles and hands-on experience with backlog management.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to translate complex user needs into clear, actionable product features.
Affinity with the healthcare sector; you understand the unique dynamics and sensitivities of healthcare environments.
Fluent in Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
Experience working with or on an EPD/EHR system.
Familiarity with tools like Jira, Confluence, Figma, or similar.
Knowledge of UX/UI design principles or working with design teams.
Background in or passion for physiotherapy, medical software, or eHealth.
Competitive salary: €3.000 to €5.000 per month, based on experience.
